First Rendez-Vous
Yann Tiersen…
What about next year ??
Yesterday Egyptian rolled back one hour at midnight to officially begin the winter time earlier than its usual timing ,why is that ??
Because Ramadan will start next week insh Allah on Monday , people do not to fast for too long , in Summer time the Maghrib prayer is about 8 PM CLT where as in Winter time it is about 6PM CLT !!
Well I think it is unethical ,because next Year will be in August and after it insh Allah it will be in July ,what will you do then ??? You will have to fast till 8 PM so it is not a big deal !! read more »

If You Move To Saudi Arabia
I was sitting with the boys celebrating my Egyptian-ness (i.e. sitting around, drinking tea, smoking sheesha and being lazy) and we got to talking about friends living and working in Saudi Arabia or as I like to call it, “The Place Where Happiness Goes To Die”. (No apologies so dont ask.) Anyways we were chatting about how well they get paid to work for American and British companies in Jeddah and Riyadh. We looked at their pictures on facebook trying desperately to interpret the quality of life or lack thereof.
Here’s what we already know. read more »
Examples Of Strong Corporate Cultures
Corporate culture has become increasingly important to firms in the past 20 years. Despite its intangible nature, its role is meaningful, affecting employees and organizational operations. And while culture is not the only factor guaranteeing success, positive cultures offer significant competitive advantages over rivals.

Can Corporate Culture Be a Competitive Advantage?
Introduction
Corporate culture has become an important topic in business primarily during the last two decades. While corporate culture is an intangible concept, it clearly plays a meaningful role in corporations, affecting employees and organizational operations throughout a firm. While culture is not the only determinant of business success or failure, a positive culture can be a significant competitive advantage over organizations with which a firm competes. This paper will review how the concept of corporate culture became popular, define corporate culture, show how it affects real-world organizations (both positively and negatively), and consider ways in which cultural change may be brought about.
